Hey..I couldn't help but bring up the subject of Leif's voice appearance in " Family Guy"..it's the repeat show of the wheel chair guy.
Could there be a " King of the Hill " guest spot? or " the Simpson's " in the near future?

I thought I'd throw some other ideas for shows I'd like to see Leif do this year.

Hello to everyone!! It has come to my attention that we (Gail, Hills, Sue, Suni, Laurie and Elisabeth..Hippy to) have been online buddies now for 4 years!!! (Boy, does time fly by! I thought it was longer!!!)

The exact date and time has not been set, so please check back. Hopefully it will be in one or two weeks, depending on schedules, etc.

But I think on behalf of everyone, ( I know, you're thinking, "OMG, here she goes speaking for us again!!" My name is iJuana Playthe-Gitarman. I didn't want to release my name because of the investigative work I do,
but I have decided to retire from this line of work and become a superstar!

I am glad to report to you ladies, that I have located Guitar Stickman. You were right Suni, he was in Pasadena, CA.; he attended the Rose Bowl and was in a headbanging match with some Cornhusker Fans. With my assistance, Guitar turned himself in to the police. The charges were dropped because it was proven to be self-defense. It seemed, he was recognized by some fans and when they charged
him, he had no alternative but to beat them off. (Think about it..having no clothes for them to pull off, he didn't want anyone grabbing at his wanker or placing a corn husk where it didn't belong!)

He wanted me to tell you, he cannot return to the MB until he buys a new guitar.
(The other one broke in the scuffle with the fans). He doesn't want to play a lead guitar anymore. He is switching to the bass. Let me start at the beginning.
He told me a story; something I feel I should share with you.

He said his precious autographed picture of Ivan Doroschuk (former lead singer of Men Without Hats) came to life. He tried to ignore it, but the continuous visions and thoughts, off the The Safety Dance continued to haunt him..so after several appearances, he answered. He said
Ivan was disturbed to see his career gone. He had a proposition for Guitar. Come to California, join
his new band. The HasBeens. Guitar was insulted at first, but decided to hear is idol out.
It seems Ivan only wanted to break your beloved Guitar Stickman into pieces, beyond recognition.
Ivan was jealous...jealous of his fame and constant demands on your website. "Why, why, why," is
all he could ask. Stick knew he was in trouble so he left, running a fast as he could down California Boulevard. He was picked up by another once famous band member, bass player, John Taylor of Duran Duran. John gave him the inspiration needed to find a Rogaine distributer, grow his hair, and chunk it blonde in front and wear it like the lead singer of Flock of Segalls. I admit, it sounds scarry,
but I think this is a good thing for Stick. He needs to "find himself."

My daughter was watching a show on the Disney Channel called Lizzie MacGuire. The mom on the show was trying to talk to the dad. He was asking her to wait a minute because he was making a fortune selling their old Leif Garrett albums in an online auction. They even showed an old album. It was too funny!

Looking back on 2001, what was your fondest memory, your biggest personal achievement, and for what are you most grateful? What are your goals for 2002?

My fave memory is the minute I finished giving my valdedictory speech at graduation. What a relief! My biggest achievement was moving to L.A., not knowing too many people and having to leave my dogs. Oh, and parents, of course ;) I'm definitely most grateful for my family (including the pets) and wonderful, awesome friends!! My goals for 2002 include always remembering how lucky I am, giving back to the community, and doing my personal best in school.

    - I think my greatest accomplishment was just surviving! ha ha - Getting involved in an animal rescue group and fostering was my biggest endeaver - one I love - the funnest moment was meeting Leif x 2 and meeting some very nice people in the process! Especially since I did not behave well the 2nd meeting - thanks for putting up with me! What am I most thankful for? My parents. My dogs and birds (they have helped through a rough few years), I am grateful that despite everything I am still happy, healthy and independent. I am grateful to those who serve in the armed forces to help bring the world closer to peace (like that will ever really happen but... we can hope) and oh yah! I am grateful that Mizzou has a top 10 basketball team and the Rams are kicking ass - despite Leif turning up his nose at them! ha ha! My accomplishments for next year? I just wanted to share with you guys..I don't know if you remember, but I purchased an uopened 50 piece puzzle of our Leif (he is in BLACK LEATHER! YUMMY!) One of my new found friends here in the mountains wanted to buy it from me! I was like NOT! If I wouldn't send it to VH1, what makes you think I am selling it....the poor thing wants it so bad she offered me $500.00 for it! What could I say???

- I'm glad to hear everyone is surviving okay....I have been swamped with work, and frankly, it has been getting to me.....new staff, crazy families, but most of all, the politics, has been driving me over the edge. Sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel however I know there will be an end to this crap. I am working with one really cool family right now that I feel I am making a dent with, and that helps. Keeping a sense of humour helps too LOL but I do miss our chats - they helped a tremendous amount! I really wish I had more time to IM. It used to be that my sleep suffered, when I worked shifts, however, now, my free time seems to have diminished tremendously. There just isn't enough time in the day, but at least I feel more sane, MOST of the time LOL For the most part, life is good. I met Tony Defranco the other night! Well its been almost 2 long years since Hillary and I met Leif in Tempe! Seeing pictures and hearing current stories has me getting ansie (is that spelled right??) to see him again.
Anyway..maybe his manager or public relations person (by the way, is he still associated with Barbara???) will get him a gig or two in Knoxville. That's close to me!
Ohhh yeah..by the way..there is a radio station here in town that is offering $1,000 to any person who can get a past or present celebrity to call in! Do ya think Leif remembers me enough to help me make a thousand bucks??? I sure could use it! LOL!!
