Question About Leif/ Drug Treatment

Cool site! I have a question about Leif that I hope some really informed Leif fan can answer! I long while back I saw a program on TV, something like 20/20 or Dateline. It featured Leif undergoing some type of exparimental drug treatment. A treatment that takes about 6 hour and totally rids your body of any of the drugs in your system (cocaine, herione ect.) Leif & another guy (unknown, homeless) were both treated that day for the TV show. Later they showd that the unknown man did not succeed in staying clear of drugs and went back to using 3 or 4 months later. I never did hear rather or not Leif was successful beyond the 3/4 month period? Does anyone know if he is drug free today (2002) or if he fell victim to herione again!! I loved him in the 70's and 80's and was saddened to see him held up in his apartment strung out on drugs:( Please post a reply if you have any info. Thanks,Laura

The last I read was an interview Leif had done recently and he says he has been clean now for 2 1/2 Years... I think, well its 2 years and some months not possitive what he said... can't find the interview right now... but the show was Entertainment Tonight....I watched it while I was in the hospital having my baby and she is 2 1/2 now.... so according to Leif he is clean.... :) And I have to say to that....
