Dennis, I am now certified in medical coding. Please check with your doctor's office and also get them involved. If they do not code your medical condition properly, the insurance company will not pay based on those coding. Don't be afraid of bugging them and get them involved. Insurance companies have been known for turning down claims just to see if any one will dispute them. Of course they will deny this. Is it your insurance company turning you down or the other person? Get everyone involved & complaining. Document all phone calls, & paper trails. If one person can't help you then ask for a supervisor. In other words be a "pain in the butt"
