i live in Louisville and was fortunate enough to meet Nidia a couple of weeks before WrestleMania this year and talk to her for a few minutes while she was shopping at my store...well, she came into my store a couple of days ago and she remembered me!! i thought that was the most awesome thing in the world. We talked to each other like old friends...which was really cool. Nidia is probably one of the nicest people i've have ever met in my life and i hope nothing but the best for her.

Nidia on Tough Enough 2 -- 'dalia, 18:08:27 04/26/02 Fri

Is everyone watching Tough Enough 2? I am, though I must say the first Tough Enough was much better. (The first TE crew seemed to be picking up the moves better, plus I'm really fond of Jackie)
Anyway, Nidia and Maven were on Thursday night, and I must say it was awesome! Maven almost seemed like a season veteren, and Nidia was doing great bumps with the new competitors.
Also: when they introduced Nidia on the show, they showed a short package of her in the ring (mostly from the first Tough Enough) and a cool looking graphic accompanying her name. Will this be with her entrance video?
Anyway-hope she's kicking ass in the OVW, and hope to see her on WWF tv soon!

Yea, I've been watching TE2. I don't think it's as good as the first TE, but that's just my opinion. I've been watching every show though. I don't really like Pete and Jackie now. My picks for winning TE2 are Jake and Linda, and like I told Nidia, I'm an aspiring WWF superstar myself, so I try to pay close attention to the shows. Who knows, I may end up at HWA or OVW one of these years. I want to do everything though-not just wrestling! lol I also wish Jackie was still a TE trainer. I like Ivory too, but Jackie is my favorite women's wrestler.

Just wanted to say that Nidia is AWESOME in the ring. I was there for all 6 axxess sessions and saw her matches in the ring as well as her working her butt off during the warmups with the tough enough crew.
Shes a blast to talk to and she is HILARIOUS!!!
I cant wait to see her in the ring!!

Didn't she fight Taylor at Axxess? Nidia won. Hopefully soon she'll be on TV. I don't know. I hope she's on Smackdown with Maven.

For the next couple of weeks(basically the entire summer) sister will be extremely busy. She will be doing about 3 matches a week. I will be going to live with her all summer long. It's going to be so awesome. Also thank you guys very much for being congratulators and not haters.

I know. If Maven got picked for SD, then someone should've drafted Nidia. But all the HWA and OVW people should go somewhere when the WWF thinks they're ready. From what I've heard, they think Nidia is improving.

I know all of the nidia bashers are gone for now,but I wanted to say,that all of you bashers say that she didn't even earn her contract?so,having to go through pure utter hell for nine weeks,having to be taped all the time,have people who are close to you leave,and then actually sticking with it when you get hurt,is not earning it?I respect Nidia and I think she definatly deserved it.I'd like to see the bashers go to the camp and spend 9 weeks there.I bet they wouldn't even last one day.So to all of you bashers,just shut up.You're just jealous because you want to be in her shoes,and in the WWF,but you'll never get the chance because they wouldn't want you!

Thanks Lourdes for clearing that up. It's really nobody's concern, and I was almost positive she wasn't married, but didn't know for sure. It's nobody's business anyway-unless she says it herself, don't believe what you hear. I've definitely learned that! People always spread unnecessary rumors about celebs and people in the spotlight. It's unnecessary, rude, and an invasion of privacy.

Um.......I don't THINK Nidia's married. Anyway, I heard Nidia is gonna get drafted to Smackdown. Anybody know if there's any truth to that? Hopefully there is, because then she and Maven will be on the same show! I think SD is gonna be the better show (mainly because my favorite The Rock is on there-so I'm biased! lol), but I'm gonna watch both as much as possible.

I think Nidia is awesome. She was my pick for the female winner of Tough Enough, and when she won I was so excited for her. She went on Tough Enough and proved to the world she was indeed tough enough. Being a female wrestling fan I feel she has been an inspiration. Many of us dream of one day working for the WWF in one way shape or form, but few if any pull it off. And Nidia was one of the lucky few. She proved that dreams can come true. I wish her all the luck in the world, and I hope we see more of her on WWF television real soon.

Well, I was glad to discover this site, to check up on what Nidia's been up to. I feel like I'm missing a friend after getting to know Nidia a tiny bit through Tough Enough. I suggested to the WWF site that they have a diary section where the TE winners could keep fans up to date on their activities through the TE WWF website, since there is one - I'm sure they get tons of suggestions, though. Anyway, Nidia, I'm glad to hear that things seem to be doing well for you - can't wait to see you on WWF TV - hope it's on Smackdown! since I don't get TNN. Take care all.

I read on a wrestling board that Nidia, Victoria and Sharmel will be on WWF Tv after the roster split after Wrestlemainia. It also said that there will only be a womens division on one of the shows so it should be quite competative. Whatever!! She and Maven may not have worked years and years with training to get where they are, but they still went through 9 weeks of torture. If you don't like it-too bad, because that is what Tough Enough is all about, and WWF CAME UP WITH the show, so they have no problem with it. It may not be jealousy that you have, but it may very well be insanity because you are bitter at someone you have had no contact with, and don't even know that much about.

In case you guys didn't see it. There was a special about Tough Enough. It was pretty cool because sister didn't tell me it was going to be on or that it even existed. I was watching mtv and all of sudden the TE music starts going, I run to the vcr and put a tape in and of course I had to record it. It was neat how they had Maven and sister express their feelings on how they initially felt. Also I believe that they are going to have a tough enough marathon next weekend. Right before the premiere of TE2.

Anyways, it's nice to see how people are having a discussion on how sister got fake boobies. Well she didn't but if she did they'd probably stay the same size as they are right now except they wouldn't sag. Did that sound a little nasty? eeewwwwwww.

The first annual Induction Ceremony to be held on May 5th

The weekend kicks off with a Trading Card Show at the Ramada Inn, Schenectady, New York. The Card show is from 10:00am - 3:00pm, Saturday May 4th. An entrance fee of $5.00 per person will be collected at the door. Anyone interested in renting a table at the card show should contact Mike Capano-email mcapano@nycap.rr.com or telephone (518) 725-5272.

Also on the 4th of May, a Golf Outing is to take place at the Schenectady Municipal Golf Course, Schenectady, New York. The format for the Golf Outing will be Captain and Crew. The event will include celebrity appearances, food and awards. Tee Time is 11:00am. Cost is $85.00 Per Person and we have a 144 player limit, so call and reserve your Tee Time. Hey Sister, Chris Harvard will be in Houston after all. The show he was originally going to be on was cancelled, so he signed on to wrestle a different show. It's gonna be at the Gulf Greyhound dogtrack this Saturday (Feb. 9th) Buff Bagwell and Rey Mysterio Jr. will be there also. The show will start probably at around 10:30pm.

Tough Enough was a great opportunity for wannabe wrestlers. My sister had been saving up money and was going to move in the summer to San Antonio to go to Shawn Michael's wrestling academy. And then the whole Tough Enough thing happened. It happened so quickly that, I don't think that to this day the whole thing has registered. I am sure that if they had the chance any of the wrestlers would have jumped at the opportunity to do Tough Enough. Their talent and hard work would have been the only way they would make it all the way through the show. And it's only with their charisma and looks that they would have gotten a contract. Sister's goal in the business is not to be on tv every Monday and Thursday or get paid mad cash, but what she is working on in OVW is be an incredible worker and to be able to get respect from the people in the locker room. As for her getting injured, that was not her fault. I think any bodies leg would have gotten hurt if 338 lbs. of Darryl would have fallen on it from a hip toss.

I have had the opportunity to meet and talk to both Lourdes and Nidia and both of them are awesome people. Nidia is talented and deserves all the good things that come to her. Not only are Lourdes and Nidia beautiful on the outside, but they are also beautiful on the inside. They are both caring individuals. I have also observed the bond that they share. It's a similar relationship I have with my brother. I have never seen anything but love and admiration from Nidia to her sister and vice versa. I am sure Lourdes is just as talented in what ever field or dreams she pursue's. I miss seeing Lourdes at the OVW shows. I hope she comes back soon. So to all the people on this message board dissing Nidia and Lourdes, it needs to stop. If you're basing your likes and dislikes from a tv show that only showed a couple hours out of what was taped, that's sad. Nidia worked her ass off and got the contract. She is aso busting her ass everyday at OVW. She is paying her dues. So until you've done what she is doing now, don't judge. I think the people on here are judging because they are jealous that they can't have what Nidia has. Anyway again Nidia, keep up the good work. And Lourdes good luck in all you do as well. You're a sweetheart, and I miss seeing you.

Both nights she looked incredible. Not only is she looking great in the ring, but she is also very good with her many many fans. I am very proud of how far she has come. She will definately be a superstar in the wwf one day. She won the match on the 26th when she wrestled in a tag team match with Victoria as her partner, and Donna Derring and Hellena Heavenly as their opponents. She was however defeated by Victoria the following night. But win or lose she is looking fantastic. Keep up the good work girl. I am glad to know you as a friend and a fan.

She was on WWF TV a couple of times-but didn't wrestle. She came out with Maven once, and another time she was shown in the back being confronted by Tazz. She's at OVW, and finally had her first match there-but not on regular WWF TV yet.

Why are alot of you disrespecting Nidia?, she fought hard to win Tough Enough and she deserved it as much as Taylor, i liked ALL the particepents in Tough Enough 1 (Chris Harvard was a bit unprofessional though), Nidia had the look and the talent and she will fit in perfectly into the WWF, I picked Maven as the Male Winner on day one, he had IT, the X-Factor every President looks for in a wrestler and he got what he deserved, and Nidia deserved it as much as he did, so all you people who are being childish towards Nidia's victory on Tough Enough should grow up, it takes alot to get far in this business and i'm sure 2002 will be Nidia's year to shine.

For all those people writing negative commentary, I am not as sweet as my sister is and I will tell you straight out that all you that diss her wouldn't have lasted a week on Tough Enough. I'm glad you have an opinion no matter how ignorant it is, but instead of bashing someone on their own website why don't you get a freaking life and actually make friends outside of the internet. Instead of pretending to be a 6 foot, 215 lb. hunk on the internet, step out of your house with your 5 foot build and do something productive with yourself. My sister is living her dream right now, and for whatever reasons they chose her, she's got the contract and is working on her moves and trying to pay her dues. Taylor is a great kid and is also doing things with her popularity from Tough Enough. She is doing very well and learning as well. Sister's first match was incredible. It wasn't a girlie match it was an all out brawl. Hopefully her tag match on Saturday will go well and she will score a victory.

Everyone who is so convinced that they know why Nidia was picked over Taylor needs to step back and realize that what they saw on TV was a VERY small part of what happened during the entire competition. Trust me, I should know. We're talking about a week's worth of film edited down to 25 minutes. They both did a great job and they both deserved it, Nidia just happened to fit the mold of what they were looking for more than Taylor did. Congrats to Nidia, I wish her the best.

Vince didnt pick Taylor because she screwed up many times
while he was watching her and was afraid if picked she might get nervous on television and screw up there.Im not saying that was the complete reason but it was a big part of it

I think that the WWF misused her during her time on WWF TV. After all, they let Maven wrestling in 3 matches which included a WIN over Tazz along with mic time. They should have at least let Nidia wrestle in one match!

I agree. I mean, Maven wrestled a couple of TV matches, so I think Nidia should've been able to have a couple of matches for all of us to see also. I don't watch WWF as often as I used to. The storylines and stuff are starting to annoy me. I PLAN on watching Smackdown, and depending how that is, I may or may not watch Raw next week. GO NIDIA!!

I have to agree. I was hoping that Nidia would wrestle and kick some butt, but hey...I'm just happy being able to see her on Raw...or see her period. :) Anyway, Nidia...I'm so happy for you and hope that you became huge in the WWF. They need more women wrestlers, and more women wrestler like you. Maybe you can hook-up with Maven and Josh and do the tag team thing Hardyz style!! Screw it....just go for the Women's title. Trish can't be that hard....and I know you can give Lita a run for her money...hell, you had Jaqueline for a trainer!

Keep it real Nidia, (and I will make a version of you when WWF: Raw is War for the X-box come out. :) ) Hope to see you and Maven in action real soon.

I just wanted to say congrats to my friend Nidia for taking it all the way and becoming the newest WWF superstar! She looked damn hot on Smackdown when Tazz was yelling at her, and she looks just as hot in real life as well.
