Subject: The new M3...not so fast buddy!!

The other day I had some time to stretch the GTS legs a bit. Apparently so did a nice 2001 M3. For those interested, we had very very close runs. I figure my power advantage evened out with his weight advantage. Still, 330-some hp is a lot to ask from a six, very impressive, but no 928. There is no replacement for displacement. The sheer torque advantage during a downshift just punches the car forward. Made my day. GTS 5spd 300hp/320lb-ft to the ground.
