It's pretty tough to figure out. Prices are all over the board. My advice is figure out which year or range of years you want to buy and transmission, and keep looking until you find a deal that seems reasonable to you. If it helps, I recently paid $16,500 for 1986 1/2, 5 speed with brand new tires and 40,000 miles from a dealer. I felt like I didn't get the deal of the century but I didn't pay huge premium for buying from dealer either.
