Hi Ed!

In response to your request about the hot jazz spots. There's a place downtown on Broadway called B.B.'s that usually has really good live music. It's also in a REALLY OLD building so there's a lot of ambience. It's pretty cool! They have a menu and full bar. There's also a band called "Green Eggs & Ham" that one of my (male) friends enjoys and he's been following them around town. I'm pretty sure it's a jazz band because he loves jazz.

You might also want to try looking in the Post-Dispatch online for more ideas about what's happening this weekend. They should have all the events that will be going on in and about town.
