Subject: Fourth of July--2002

I am flying into St. Louis with my wife Nancy for the week of the Fourth of July. Besides telling me that we're totally nuts to subject our bodies to the heat and humidity at that time of year, any suggestions or 'heads-up' about Ritenour-related or Overland-centered activities? Wassup homies?

How about the greater St. Louis area? The last time I was in town (for the 35th reunion) I was guided through some really neat (read that as renovated) areas somewhere near Delmar and another around U-City. Where are the really hot live jazz spots now? Do we have anything like Chicago's Rush Street yet? Not looking for the old Gaslight Square scene. Looking for great jazz and a layed-back atmosphere.
