Thanks for your reply: answers to follow:

>When refereeing I play advantage when the infringed
>player maintains resonable possession and is then able
>to take their next option without losing possession
>due to the foul occuring.
Is this true advantage though? what constitutes reasonable possession, what if the next option happens, but possesion is lost at this point? Is this true advantage when if the restart was taken, the player receiving the option from the fouled player may not have lost possesion.

An example of this is when
>player A is paddle fouled by B but maintains
>possession advantage would be called and the player is
>able to take a shot and score no advantage was lost,
>but if A was fouled and fumbled the ball because of
>the paddle foul I would call the play back and award a
>free shot.

I would hope every ref would do this. BUT what happens if the fouled player then passes off? If you don't call the foul, is this really advantage? After all, perhaps the player may have taken the shot if they had not been fouled? But was put off after being fouled...has advantage really occured?

Additionally, would you award a goal penalty for a deliberate foul on a player clearly int he act of shooting?
