Personally I reckon the ten-nil thing is dodgy. A default is a default, it's as simple as that. Zero points to the loser, 3 points to the winner, and stop mucking about with the goals?

Surely if it went to a goals count back, you would divide the number of goals for and against by the number of games (excluding defaults) to determine an average.

Someone, please explain why artificial results for defaults are introducing extremity scores into the point scoring averages of National League teams???
