Troy sent me a discussion document that he worked out years ago, and although he thought the figures were out of date, he felt it could be useful for people considering the proposal. Anyone wanting to receive this document should contact me or Troy.

I also worked out a budget based on $120 entry fees to tournaments and a nominal amount for travel. Without the Home and Away games factored in, and with the assumption that we get 4 games per tournament minumum, then the old format cost less- until you work out $ per minute, at which point it costs more. Obviously, with 40 minute games, 4 games are worth 160 minutes as opposed to 80 minutes! So it's like having a minimum of 8 games at a tournament. However, I am not sure you would get 4 games. Maybe 3?

I must say that I am very grateful for the opportunity to be involved in collecting opinions from Northern, and I am also very grateful for the assistance Troy has provided in supplying the players with information.
