Seems we hooked up with the wrong unit. Can find nothing on our unit in 65 or 66. If anyone oout there has info that may help me establish some roots please e-mail me. Trying desperately to find my memories. They are there, just cannot get a solid hold on them. Still hjaving a lot of flashes, but nothing clicks.

My first husband, Sgt. Charles V. Mc Manus was a member of the Bravo Co., 2nd Battalion, 7th Cav. and was killed November 15 in Ia Drang Valley. I would like to hear from anyone who was there with him and can tell me anything about him or the battle. I would also like to hear from anyone who left Ft. Benning with the 1st Cav in August 1965.
