Searching for information on NVA officer taken POW in a rubber plantation,maybe near Ben Cat,aka Dog leg. He was carrying documents for the 69 Tet offense. This would be in IIIcorps I served with Delta Co 2nd Bat 16 inf Rangers 1st Inf Div Feb 68-to Feb 69.Any help would be grateful. Del

Were you in the 505th in '69?
I was in Phu Bai in '70 with the 505th (LRRP) as a gunner
on an HE-1 (not a good place to be :)Darn things are made out of tin-foil. Jump @ Ft Benning, Ranger Training, Ft Polk, LA, Gunner school (crash course..., Cam Rahn Bay (that stunk). Got intimately aquainted with a 60.........OH...at about 300 feet. Rangers never Quit!!
