Sierra lost hold of the doe's throat when it thrashed, and a front hoof connected with her under belly. Sierra fell to the ground, panting hard, trying to find the wind that had been knocked out of her.

Sierra struggled against the pain for a few more moments, and finally caught her breath. She looked at the fight happening before her. Akira had gripped the doe's throat and was tearing at it. Elena Was ripping the entrails from the deer's underbelly, and Keso was tearing out mouthfuls of flesh from the doe's hindquarters and back. The deer was quivering, her strength was failing.

Sierra watched and waited for an opening, to see where she was needed. Then she ran in and hooked her teeth into one of the doe's front legs. A dangerous stunt with the hooves still flying. Sierra pulled the leg under the deer, in an attempt to rip it and bring the deer to the ground.
