>>I believe in God. He is one God, but with three

>>Jesus the Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. Not three
>>God's, but one.

True, but I don't think the word Trinity is even close to defining this relationship.

>>I believe that God is omniscient (He knows all.)

Maybe - He knows all that can be known - but does He know the future choices of free creatures.

>>omnipotent,(He is unlimited in His power, with the
>>exception of being in anyway evil or contradictory to
>>His nature described in the Bible.)

Yes,but does not exercise that power in all situations. And as a matter of fact emptied Himself of said power to live as a man and became a servant. Alsao omnipotent does not mean that God can do what is logically impossible - i.e. making a perfectly round square.

>>and omnipresent (He is everywhere.)

Yes

>>That the Bible is written by God through man and in
>>its original form is inerrant.

There is no evidence that the original autographs were inerrant. Inerrancy is a man made doctrine.

>>That Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.

Yes

>>Jesus came from Heaven to earth as an example to men.
>>Jesus was fully man and fully God.

The bible neber says that Jesus was *fully* man and *fully* during his incarnation. Jesus did not in fact know the hour of His return - so He was not all knowing at that point.

>>Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, conceived by the
>>Holy Spirit.

Yes

>>Jesus died on the cross as a payment for our sins.

Atonement - now that is a debatable subject. What does dying for our sins really mean?

>>We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ

I agree - but I don't think Jamers did - James chpt.2

Please clarify for me... what do you mean? Are you claiming that James did not preach that we are saved by grace *alone* and not by work? I'm confused. Please clarify. Thank you. =)

Btw all.. Hiya! My first time here.. I followed a Prinncesss here... yay for CARM boards! ;) I'm open for much discussion.. but I admit, my 'expertise' is in the area of Latter Day Saints (Mormons..)

Cheers,
Samoria

Yes Samoria,I believe James clearly contradicted the teaching of Paul. That James taught that we are justified by faith and works as opposed to faith apart from works - Rom.4.

James only supports what Paul says. He is just saying that works are evidence of faith, not the substance of it.

Thanks for coming Samoria, good to have you.

This is untrue. First point - how was the condition of Gen.15:6 met: By faith apart from works Rom.4:3-6? Or by faith and works James 2:21,22,23?
