The ixMicro drivers aren't intended for use with the Apple-bundled Twin Turbo cards, which is why the inits don't load at startup. Twin Turbos made for Apple have only a Mac DB-15 monitor port and the letter "A" following the model number, such as 128M8A. The ixMicro retail version of the identical card has both VGA and Mac monitor ports. Support for these cards was supposed to be "built-in" the Apple OS software, so that the ixMicro Twin Turbo drivers won't work with this card (Apple TIL article). I'm having a problem with my Apple-bundled 8 MB card. Scrolling up and down within a window is delayed, causing a series of repetitious, overlaying images as the scroll bar is moved up or down. Has anyone else experienced this?
