Good news is that some of the larger companies are actually starting to not only re-hire the layoffs post 9-11 but actually hire additional staff as well. Might have had something to do with the lecture from GW to quit using 9-11 as an excuse to keep cutting more and more staff, corporate America had their collective hands slapped by the Big Guy and that doesn't look good to the public. However, the smaller companies are the ones that are truly hurting. I have a feeling that the small business bankruptcies by the end of 2002 are going to be skyhigh.
