I think treasure is a good thing.. but you're right.. I can't see much stopping us if we all own +5 junk....

then you'll have to make monsters harder.. then eventually we'll all die..then we'll just start all over... bleh!

make those thieves cherish those +1 daggers.... or if there's a paladin.... your +2 longsword may not be a holy avenger.... but it may be the only weapon he/she owns that can get him/her through the dungeon and defeat the creature that has a holy avenger...

when we start finding +2 weapons in the shops.. I know I"ll be reving up my UO again...*lol* kidding
