I hadn't thought of casters having unlimite spells.
Right now, I tend to agree with you on this (i.e. avoiding scripts that we all know are gonna malfunction vs the annoying resting only in safe places). But I'll not monkey with this aspect of the campaign until I've gotten a few more opinions.
I do like the idea of buff items though . . .
The bottom line is, I want some realistic constraints on the door-rest-monster-door-rest-monster routine. Heck, I was doing it in Krac's campaign mostly just because I end up resting before I know what the heck I'm doing.
