The Mysterious Player X has come up with 8 so far.
one is defunct and the other two are covert (which could house odd players that may not fit the other houses, yet could be plants)
Jarval - the order house, excell and arms and combat
Vedis - the honorable house, excell at negotiation and woodworking
Tormund - the religious house, excell at farming, getting farmers angry, and getting farmers to burn stuff down in the name of Adrahil
Osred - the merchant house, excell at getting rich and swanky parties
Clothair - the wise hosue, excell at library building and being oppressed by the Inquisition and Tormundi lackies
Proinsea - moved to the Crossroads and are irrelevant
Fabrine - disbanded, now the thieves' guild
Sunthar - huh? What? who's that? (I gather these guys are going to be quite evil)
What I would like to do is narrow the field down to two or maybe three Houses to form player parties around. That is I don't really want to have to create detailed environments for all the Houses and then have just one, lone player rattle around in that area. So, tell me if I were to narrow things down to just two houses, which ones would they be? And, what modifications would you like to see to your prefered House in order to make it more interesting.
(Note, I plan on having each house rules by NPCs, so maybe you could include ideas about that as well)
