First, let me say again, I appreciate what you guys are trying to do. However, I feel that your rules are still geared to Hobby or Pure stocks. You asked for tech exchange/info, so below is what most of the people up here would have to change or purchase to "runwityall".
First, the "no biggies":
New hoods without scoops.
Add windsheild bars.
Remove spoilers(5x60 allowed).
New radiators,fans,pulleys.
Add automatic tranny(100lbs.is a too much of a penalty).
Add exhaust manifolds and pipe.
Buy racing muffler(yuck).
Buy racing Rochester 2 barrel.
New gearset.
Add competitive heads.

The BIGGIES(I don't think most guys would do these):
Add rear fenderwells(How?).
Cut rollcage tubing from under hood and trunk.
Buy new stock shocks and springs.
I, MYSELF, would be willing to add a hundred pounds or two for the above, just to race!

Now, my questions:
What camshaft?
Harmonic balancer?
3,300 lbs. sure seems to be heavy. What kind of cars weigh this much?
If wedgebolts are allowed in rear, I guess lowering blocks are Okay with leafs, right?
