He was irritated that that little girl had been plaguing his thoughts on and off since the night of the party. He hoped he would see her again at the same time that he wished desperately that he would never have to lay eyes on her again. He wandered in, hulkily, and dropped himself onto a nearby couch, stretching out and closing his eyes to the thought of her.

and, ironically enough, here she was - either against his wishes or for them. She was decked out in some tight jeans and a v-neck sweater to try and beat out the cold that would soon chill her thin form down to the bone.
