  What he needed these days it seemed was a busy, very public place. He would have to behave himself out in public, so if he stuck to public places where there would be witnesses it would be nothing but smooth sailing right?   • She was beginning to prepare herself for going back to school, she had managed, somehow, to convince her parents to allow her to stay on with Kendall (who was, of course, a possitive influence- having graduated at the top of her class and starting at college this simester) rather than moving back home.   He was feeling restless again - unsatisfied with the place that he was sitting in right now in his life. He had a sneaking suspicion that it had much to do with not having seen Selena in a few days. After their night out, he'd promised to call but then hadn't - couldn't figure whether she'd hate him or love him after their little drunken escapade and wasn't sure which one would be worse. He listened to the dead end of a line for some time, having just spoken unsuccessfully to Len - didn't look like he could run away from things here just yet. If he wasn't so worried about his career, he would have forgone all of his manager's warnings and just gone ahead and gone back on his own, but he knew that none of that was about to happen smoothly.

  She'd spent the majority of her last couple of weeks of training so distracted mentally that she'd had a good wreck a week ago, and now waddled into the lodge with a thick steel and nylon brace on her left knee, one crutch helping her hobble along. This was not her idea of training - she couldn't get the stitches from the emergency surgery they'd done wet, and so she was miserable.

  She was sat out the back, where it was quiet and she could see the ocean, rocking in the swing seat absently, headphones in her ears, it was getting pretty late but for once she hadn;t felt the draw of the strip, and had remained here instead, watching the sky turn into a redish purple color. Her long blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders as she leant back, twisting a strand of it around her finger, a habit her mother hated, and so she did all the more, red lounge pants low on her hips, a matching tight red zip up hoody over a white tank, making her look like any other seventeen year old girl would, not even a trace of make-up on her face.   Yet again, here she was. It was interesting how all of them who had followed in their father footsteps had ended up back in their hometown but who knew the area better then those who had grown up here? She leaned against the railing - a smile on her face as she took in the sites around her - just remembering all the times she had spent here.
