He was deffinately enjoying the weekend he got to spend with his kids, though it tired him out to be sure. The twin boys were rising 4 now and to say they were a handful was an understatement. He ran a hand through his dark black hair as he sat on the step watching the boys on the grass. His attention wavered every now and then, scanning the area absently... Jordan was expected home this weekend.

She'd spent an hour trying to track him down... first stop had been the apartment, of course, but finding it deserted she'd headed for his parents place... Laila told her she might find him here so she'd headed over, hopes high. He wasn't expecting her home untill tomorrow so she hoped he'd be pleasently supprised. Her dark glossy waves were brushed back from her face, a short baby pink pleted skirt high on her toned thighs, a black sweater hugging her lithe form, black boots reaching her knees, and of course, the exquisit diamond on her finger.

In the midst of the chilling winter were those who attempted to survive, much like the petite French-Italian woman who had buried her slender, gentle frame beneath a heavy sapphire velour blanket. She had thick, silky waves of velveteen mahogany hair, its length tumbling across her blanket covered back. Her thick lashes were rich and luxurious; they enumerated the half a dozen shades of blue tumulting within her eyes. Rich, naturally ruby lips parting to mouth the words of the song that had brought unusual blank pain to her divine, angelic face. The young woman's creamy skin flushed with heat from her hidings beneath the covers, and from subtle loss that she had yet to recognize. Her voice finally reaching a whisper as she sung the lyrics in perfect tone.

Things had gone terribly awry back in New York, his adoptive father - Wes Lassiter - had sustained severe injuries from a gang fight, he was still in the foolish dealings of Rav5. His true father was an Irish Lord with ancestry miles long. His pride kept him from revealing his last name to many. The handsome blonde, with a jaw sculpted by God, swept through the door with a high dignity in the way he swept his broad shoulders back, his lean body coated in snow. The rich navy blue of his sweater brought out the most peculiar violet tint of his completely captivating eyes. His lush mouth wrought in an agitated manner as he swept through the lodge to the kitchen, running a hand over his stubble strewn face. He'd heard his ex-flame, and cousin by marriage only, had been inhabiting this run-down driveby. The thought of that sultry thing living here had brought his attention sharply to the point. He needed out from his family's problems, the problems at his private defense firm on Manhattan's upper-east side, and to resolve this hindered protectiveness he felt over his ex. And vodka would do just the trick - as he pulled a bottle of Bombay Sapphire from the cupboards.

She had been hesitant to come in here, unsure of what the reaction around here would be. It was hard to face the memories but this was her home and nothing was going to keep her away from it, not even ghosts from the past. Clad in a white turtleneck and dark jeans that showed off her slim figure, she made her way into the kitchen opening a bottle of water and pushing back her dark hair - spanish eyes flitting around the room almost nervously.

She sat tuning her guitar on the couch, blonde hair a mass of twists and highlighted with bright red black hair dye. It didn't seem like he'd been home a month and already he was hurrying to get ready to go back to school, he hadn't spent nearly the time that he had wanted to with his sisters and family and friends... but the work load he had was immense, and to say this was his first year did not fill him with much hope. Still, the work wasn't difficult for him and he'd achieved his goal of getting out of this place... though he was almost wishing he didn't have to return so soon.

He sat slouched in one of the couches, his dark features looking far from impressed as he toyed with a cigarrette, checking no one was about before slipping it between his lips and lighting it. He rarely ever came out this way anymore- choosing to devide his time between his apartment, the garage and the strip. He had no reason to venture into more civilised circles anymore.

She follows her sister in, but heads in another direction- in less than a good mood with her for busting her hair straighterns- ergo- her dark hair was drawn back in a messy ponytail. Heading for the kitchen she hops up onto a counter so she can reach the top shelves for her oreo's, having hidden them up there the previous day when they'd arrived back. Ripped and torn jeans hang from her slender hips, a fitted baby blue fleese hoodie hugging her form, her mothers bright blue eyes flickering around absently at the other occupants, glowering to herself.

Some time had passed since she had last been here... she'd grown up a lot too over the past three months. After deciding that they needed space and time to think she had gone to Tuscanny, to Ben's family home. She'd stayed a while with her Grandmother... or at least- adopted grandmother. She still remembered the year they had spent there when she was six and her mother and Ben married, she still spoke fluent Italian and she had really enjoyed herself out there... but the quiet and peace of Tuscanny had only made her realise more ... she'd rather he was there with her.

She tugs the expensive woolen coat tighter around her lithe form, honey brown eyes flickering quickly around before she moved to the window seat. It had snowed the night before and, looking out the window, she stared out at the perfect picture the snow-covered surroundings made.

She'd thought about what Isaiah had said and she had decided her mind was made up. She had to be careful with him. A baby is something neither of them needed in their life - especially in their relationship. She knew she would lose him completely if it happened - and it was now her deep resolve to stick with chastity for a while. She refused to risk what it would mean if something happened. She had once again sheared a good amount of her whispy raven curls that had once fallen loosely to her shoulders - they now hung soft in waves to just below her lobes - gentle layers twisting delicately. Her satiny tresses tracing the soft fluid line of her jaw. Velveteen cream skin smooth and flushed over her cheeks and ears as though she'd been out in the bitter air earlier. Straight cut jeans fit her hips and bottom snuggly - softly loosening as they fell - though kept in a gentle bootcut. A rich autumn sienna wool sweater fit snuggly to her tiny waist and arched up her neck in a soft slope. Rich, startling blue eyes rimmed in long lashes of raven at half mast. Lips the same golden pink glow her sweater set off. Curled up on the porch swing outside she felt completely at ease in the fall's turning season.
