Subject: His day simply wasn't going. He was supposed to be working, but his mom hadn't been feeling well that morning and so, of course, his dad had taken her to see her doctor just as a precaution. So, he had been dumped with Zaide because his sister was nowhere to be found. The moment his phone rang, he was chasing the little hoodlum across the foyer of his office building, thankful that it was a quiet afternoon and there wasn't much going on or any meetings scheduled. Desperately shushing the screeching toddler, he flipped his phone open and tucked it between his ear and shoulder, a hand covering Zaide's mouth but careful to avoid the teeth as he managed a greeting. "Yeah?"

  • "Awe, it's great to hear your voice too, honey." She teased lightly as she leaned back into the couch, twirling a loose tendril of hair around her fingers as she stretched out. "You sound frazzled baby, your day going rough?" She adored everything about this man she was going to marry, she loved him more then anything else in this world and sometimes it amazed that everything they had been through - which was definately enough to break anyone up - they were getting married soon.
