*I wrote this about 2 years ago but wanted to share it anyway*

I remember everything I was when I was little
The girl with the pink dress, blue eyes
Running freely in the many acres of green grass
Sitting by the stream
Just a simple me with a simple friend
Laughing

I remember everything I was when I moved away
Scared to be in a brand new place
City kids that played in streets
Instead of by the brooks before
Calamity and furthermore
And what I was
Wondering

I remember everything I was
Through the years I spent in Junior High
The one who missed all the dances
Wasn't part of any clubs
Only had one dream and one love
For music's sake I was
Playing

I remember the way I felt today
That people stood in the way
Of what I wanted to be
The way I cried when you scolded me
And I reflected on the past
Wishing
