Economics is pretty much going to dictate higher mpg vehicles pretty much the same way it did in europe. As far as getting the USA "on Board" what does going to Bali have to do with it? As energy prices go up it's going to be a self correcting problem. Unfortunately our demand for energy won't. The percentage of cleaner sources has to keep up with the percentage our use goes up. You've got a long way to go and another meeting isn't going to change that. These peoples time would be better spent diversifying our own resources at home for a more balanced energy process. Probably a bit to complicated for someone like Kerry.
