LIke you we have very few bills. except for one thing we pay out over 700 a month for medical which includes medigap and prescriptions . We also have a large property tax bill and insurances of various kinds such as auto and home etc Our home ins is expensive as we are covered with earthquake ins . We have no credit card debt and our home is paid for . The cost of food is going to go up greatly with hte cost of energy . However that does not effect us much as we have a garden . our water is very expensive and there is a covenant whereby we cannot drill our own well . Our garbage collection is over 200 a year and we have a small energy bill each month . My husband also does our maintanance on home appliances any car repair etc. I just thought the book was interesting i was not pointing it out as something you should do I thought the book interesting as they the fellow mentioned they were working on wind power to make hydrogen energy . I did not mention it to get a two bit lecture i just thought you might get a kick out of reading it . I was not being personal sorry you took it that way .
