New York times has a compilation of articles, some deal with how the protestors had better not mess with New York's Finest. Some about who's attending and why. None explore the issues protesters are trying to hightlight. There is one article about the "Anarchist's Image Problem", but even that doesn't say what they want. Here's a snippet from that one:
"These various groups are seizing on opportunities to confront the police because they know those are the images that will get them on the front pages of newspapers," said a spokesman for the World Economic Forum, Charles D. McLean. "The people who really care about the issues � about the environment, inequality in the world, health care � are inside the meeting talking about ways to improve the situation. The bottom line is that Americans and people around the world have decided violence is not acceptable or legitimate."
