Subject: Is torture the order of the day, do you think?

I heard a story yesterday that many of the Al Qaeda people captured in Afghanistan are not being held there or in Guantanamo, but have disappeared. Rummy seems to think that it is morally acceptable to use whatever means are effective in getting information from the latest prize; bin Laden's second or third in command, so he is being sent to a country that will be able to make him talk without our protections. If you hire a torturer, aren't you still guilty?
