I like the .45 exactly because it has good stopping power without a huge amount of tissue damage.

I don't know about a .32. My aunt had one she used for a purse gun. I fired it a few times. I don't know. I suppose if a person isn't stopped by a .32, then they might not be very open to the getting shot suggestion!

I never had any problem with the .45 -- easy to control, easy report, accurate enough, and safer than most pistols. Its the only one I would ever carry ready to fire!

Why is it in the movies they walk into dangerous situations and after they are well in, they finally chamber a round? Is that for effect?

Once a trainee emptied a pump shotgun, never fired a shot, just kept pumping them out! That was before they put locks on them -- he just got rattled!
