X-Mas is an Americanized version of "Christmas" and has more to do with commerce than with Christ... who else would take Christ out of the name?

I wish you all a Merry Christmas, and some time to reflect on the reason why we really celebrate this day - as a memorial to the advent of our dear Saviour Jesus Christ.

And after that, a happy New Year.
