PHILIPPINES – March 14, 2007 – The Elite Productions International Co. The Executive Producer and Owner of the Miss Young International Beauty Pageant announced today that Jessica Chaya of Venezuela has been terminated as MISS YOUNG INTERNATIONAL 2006, and her runner-up, Estefany Carolina Salgado Tomaselly of Ecuador will ascend to the title and serve the remaining nine months of the reign.
Ms. Venezuela was dismissed today for breach of contract because she has failed to fulfill the duties required of the title. The MISS YOUNG INTERNATIONAL crown comes with a large array of responsibilities including, but not limited to, extensive international travel as a goodwill ambassador for Charity Activities, the official cause of MISS YOUNG INTERNATIONAL.
"We are disappointed that it did not work out with Jessica, but we wish her all the best in her future endeavors," explains Mr. Mark Ancheta, President of the Elite Productions International Co. "We are extremely excited that Estefany Tomaselly will be wearing the crown with confident that she will be a great Miss Young International Queen, and a wonderful representative of our company, our sponsors and different charities worldwide," said Ancheta.
Estefany Tomaselly, a crowd favorite during the 2006 MISS YOUNG INTERNATIONAL competition in Manila Philippines last November. She is a 21-year-old from Ecuador. She work as a Ramp and Commercial Model in her country, "I am looking forward to taking on the responsibilities of MISS YOUNG INTERNATIONAL title and working with various Charities worldwide. I will work to make this transition as easy as possible for the Elite Productions International and its supporters, sponsors and charitable partners, so that I can quickly and seamlessly get to the work that must get done," said Tomaselly.
As she steps into the role of MISS YOUNG INTERNATIONAL 2006 she will travel extensively working with worlds respected organizations, including the World Health Organization, African Conservation Council and the Children’s Rights Formation Agency based in Geneva. As a "celebrity" spokesperson, she will be responsible for working with media globally to generate a better understanding of her works and its proper implementations; while helping increase awareness, funding and resources for these key organizations.
