Brandon Routh was born on 9 October 1979 in Des Moines, Iowa, USA and grew up in nearby Norwalk. He created the role of "One Life to Live's" Seth Anderson in May, 2001. In 2004, he was cast in the title role in the 2006 film, Superman Returns.
