After watching the interviews done at the state meeting, along with the promo videos, I have a new sense of a top 10. I firmly believe this year just may be a shocker. My top 10 predictions are Emily Randon, J'Lyn Henderson, Hannah Teutsch, Kaitryana Leinbach, Courtney Hammons, Sharity Brent, Monica Whitman, Meagan Crews, and Jourdan Waddell. That 10th spot is up for grabs between Lora Levigne, Alyssa Marie Gardner, Sydney Jack, Amayah Sweeney, and Enia Gardner. The rest of the contestants just don't have the polish that my top 9 have, in my opinion. However, with that being said, talent counts for 50% of the score and there are several that have good talents, such as Grace Powell and Allison Newton, but the speaking/interview skills are just lacking in the rest of this group. Those that stood out as the strongest speakers, most attractive, talented, personable, and mature enough to do the job of Miss Louisiana are my top 9 contestants. I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts though.
