I bring this up every year: why is the Miss Louisiana Pageant presence on all social media outlets so lacking??? There should be constant posting of any and all activities and events all week long! No excuses! All contestants, board members and volunteers should also "check in" wherever they go and tag the Miss Louisiana Organization! AND - how about promoting events BEFORE they happen??? I don't know why I bother even mentioning this. It will never change as long as Darris and Dewana are around. They prefer keeping the entire organization like a country club: only open to a select, chosen few. Just drive around, read the newspaper or notice the billboards, store signage, etc. You'd never know the pageant was even happening this week in Monroe! Pitiful.

I’m confused at what social media you’re following. I follow most of the girls and the MLO official pages and they’ve gone live at events and posted pictures at every event this week. I believe that they have a social media chair person now who follows the girls around. And the girls are allowed to have their phones all of the time now so they can take pictures and tag sponsors to promote them. (NT) No name

What exactly would you have them do? They post it ok all forms of social media PLUS news media, print, broadcast, and air. So again, what exactly would you have them do to suit you? You must not have followed the newly crowned Miss Louisianas because yeah Carla , they post on ALL forms media including Instagram and FB, probably even Twitter as does the MLO. I would even take a leap and say she even snaps, if not, she could and should. Settle down Karen the two majors are covered. As for HC she posted very frequently on those two, as did AN, and JK. I'm not who you're referring to. But tell me, is there a uniform usage of hashtags so all posts about Miss Louisiana can be found? No. And ultimately, MLO needs to have a consistent social media campaign that works in conjunction with Miss Louisiana and not completely rely on her for all posts during the year.
