It wasn't that she liked to be babied so much as she liked knowing that he cared enough to worry, and now here he was telling her that he wasn't going to worry, and she was just so frustrated with everything. This wasn't how things were supposed to be going and she hated that she had no control over any of it. "You know, if you're going to just be treating me like any other employee, I'll just hear about the updates at the next staff meeting. I have some studying I can do."
