Jason watched his twin for a moment as he spoke, sensing the serious turn in their night out and growing sombre himself, lowering his gaze and setting his jaw. They'd left her alone with their sorry excuse for a mother and it was only through her own initiative she'd gotten out of their before their mothers sorry ass boyfriend had screwed her up... and then he for one had been so wrapped up in his job and his new life and his girlfriend that he was lucky if he ever even asked her about her day every day- the most he seemed to do for her was pick her up from the damn stables when she needed it. "Sometimes... but theres not a hell of a lot we could do about it... except break out of Juvi... " He didn;t like the part where he started feeling guilty. "They can buy her all the shit they want... you know Lacey doesn;t care about possestions and shit..." He tried to convince himself as much as joey. "Besides... let them... she deserves it- she's a good kid." he let his gaze drift upto his brother before looking out of the front windsheild.
