She looked away quickly, hoping he wouldn't come over, maybe he wouldn't realize it was her and if he did, maybe he wouldn't notice who she was with because she just didn't want Joce getting hurt. "Hey...you sure you wanna stick around here? We can head out if you want." She understood though, that the girls pride might keep her from ducking out just because the boys were there and her boy in particular was being an ass. It didn't matter to her either way, she would see Jake at home so even if she ended up not spotting him while they were all here it was no big deal to her. Whatever made the younger girl most comfortable and most happy was what she wanted to do, that's all.
