Summer was fast approaching, but not quite quickly enough for her. It was an 'away' weekend, meaning that the girls were allowed to go home or away or wherever they wanted - provided they had parental permission of course - and so she had jumped at her mom's suggestion that she come home for a few days. She had caught a ride that afternoon with another girl who lived sort of near by, then had hung out with her parents - who seemed to love and adore her still, despite her deviance of earlier that spring - for dinner. She had been receiving only good reports from her teachers at school and had gotten into only a little bit of trouble - mostly just her naturally confrontational attitude had gotten her into a couple minor spats with faculty and students on occasion - so all was pretty much right in the world again. Her mom and dad had been okay with her going out that night - as long as she 'behaved herself' - and so she had headed out here with Chad because Cole hadn't answered his cell when she tried calling him earlier and she didn't want to bug him if he was doing work stuff or whatever. Plus, with Colden coming to visit her so much, Chad hadn't been out quite as often - though he still definitely came every couple of weeks if he could, as much to scout out the other girls as anything, she secretly suspected. It was all good though - she adored him, even if he was just using her to meet other girls. Even though it was a little bit warmer out these days, she had opted to wear dark skinny jeans instead of a skirt like most of the girls out there, but she didn't really care, which was the sort of attitude that seemed to just draw more attention to her. Simple black flats on her feet, and a dark violet top - sleeveless and a plunging v-neck - fit flawlessly to her torso, she had left her jacket at the coat check and was hanging out at the bar waiting on the tender to grab her her Heineken. As usual, she could see that her beloved Chad was scouting out the local talent, but the most important thing was that he was close enough to her, and a big enough kid, that he discouraged the creepers loitering around from approaching her - they didn't intimidate her, but she just didn't feel like dealing with them for the time being...
