Her brows gently furrowed as she watched him, she shook her head a bit and stepped closer to him so that she could speak to him without having to shout - and because, almost ironically, she felt bad seeing him looking so upset just because she was frowning at him. It was like scolding a puppy or something. "I'm not mad, Cole... I just don't get it." She raised her shoulders in a shrug and then gestured out to the dance floor, the corner of her lip tucking between her teeth for a moment. This wasn't the best place to have this sort of conversation, but it was kind of good too because it made things a little bit less serious-seeming. "That girl you were dancing with... You would have flipped if that was me with some guy." He didn't get it and she knew that, but she didn't really know how to say what she was thinking. She almost wanted him to say that it was no big deal, and that whatever - she was free to dance with whoever she wanted to dance with. That would make things a lot easier for her. Instead though, knowing that he wouldn't handle that sort of thing well just made her feel like she was right to be upset - or at least disturbed. That only complicated things even further though because it was evidence that their relationship had progressed past a simply physical one - emotions and feelings were involved now, but it just didn't make any sense to her. She hated that she was overanalyzing things, but she couldn't help it. She was just so confused about what they were doing and where they were going...
