She just nodded a bit and looked up to watch him for a couple steps - mostly just to make sure that he wasn't going to stumble and fall on his face in his current drunken state. She didn't really know if they were going to be able to work anything out, but she couldn't stand seeing him all confused and upset. Even if he had kind of brought it on himself, he was just as clueless as she was about how to function in a relationship. She slid into the driver's seat once he was settled and got the seat and everything all adjusted for her much smaller frame before turning her hand over to link her fingers through his when he reached out. Sighing softly, she lifted his fingers to her lips to press a quiet kiss to his knuckles, and then dropped their hands back to her lap as she drove in silence for a couple minutes before finally speaking up. "I'm home till Sunday..." She didn't even know where to start about what was going on between them, so she thought she would just throw that out there. Despite how things had gone, she was pretty sure that he meant it when he said that he was just happy that she was there - so she hoped at least informing him that she had a couple days there would make him even a bit happier. She just couldn't stand it when he looked so distraught...
