He just sighed quietly, his shoulders lifting in a bit of a shrug - he could sort of see where his friend was coming from and he definitely appreciated having someone who was always looking out for him... But he hated being yet another source of stress for the other young man. "Fair enough, Sav... But for now, I'm happier with her than I am without. Who knows what'll happen in the next year or so, but for now this is the best thing for me." He had been miserable without Rachelle, and things had only gotten worse as their five weeks apart went on - he really had not been able to think at all about moving on. He was just so consumed with how much he missed her and how he was going to get her back. "I know you're just looking out for me, and I totally appreciate that... But just try to cut her some slack? This is how it's going to be for a while, and it's no fun when we can't all hang out together without you at least trying to enjoy yourself. She knows you don't like her." He hated that his best friend didn't like his girlfriend. Especially with the girls being such close friends, there was so much potential for them to have so much more fun than they had been having lately. "Stay... You should definitely stay. Just try to lighten up a bit. Drink more, or hide in the dark with Whitney, or something." He teased gently at the end, finishing off his own been and getting to his feet to go over to grab another - swatting lightly at Sav's recently buzzed head as he passed.
