He sighed and was about to answer when he saw the car pull up with the girls in it. He understood where Luke was coming from too and honestly he didn't want to ruin everyone's good time because of his worries and his concerns that so heavily influenced his mood. He smiled slightly as he watched Whitney laugh at something Whitney said - the girls really were good friends and every girl needed good girl friends around her, right? He was just kind of a selfish bastard, it wasn't fair to keep his beautiful, sweet girl all to himself. A smile sweetened his face as he watched Whitney and he let out a soft breath, nodding a little as he looked over to his friend. "Yeah, I will try." He stated, turning his eyes back to watch the girls, silent for a long moment before he turned and spoke to his friend again. "Luke?" His voice was just a bit hesitant. "For what it's worth...it makes me like her just a bit more because she makes you happy, at least for now." With that, he tipped his beer to his lips again and then started walking to meet Whitney, wanting to take some of her bags from her and maybe get a chance to apologize for his shitty mood that morning. She'd had fun just talking and hanging out with Whit, she really had missed the girl a lot and now that she was back, it was really sinking in how much her friend meant to her. They were thinking about tackling the bags and leaving the coolers in the car but then Sav was coming up so she just smiled a bit hesitantly and walked around him - leaving him plenty of space because, well she kind of was freaked out by him. Her eyes flitted to her boyfriend - once more boyfriend - on the beach, her head cocking as she saw him lazing about. Yeah, that was Luke's usual position. It had been amazing to fall asleep with him the night before. Well, she had already been asleep but then he had climbed in beside her and wrapped his arms around her - he had seemed so content just holding her close to his body and she had quickly fallen back asleep. They had lazed in bed for just a bit that morning, just talking in soft whispers while touching one another in an affectionate manner. Nothing overly sexual, it just seemed both of them wanted the soft sensations of each others hands running over their arms or back. She'd had to leave early though due to her mom coming home and so was pretty excited to see him. "Hey baby!" She exclaimed happily, it was just so good, so right to be back together.
