He lifted his head in greeting, his eyes scanning over the girl with a casual interest. She was pretty, for sure but that was a given considering that Kai's wife was a looker and this was her twin. "Nice to meet you." He stated in his usual gravelly voice, a low breath escaping his lips. He wasn't the most friendly guy towards women but given his past, most of his friends understood that. He was gun shy for sure and pretty girls were the worst of the lot. He hadn't met a girl yet who had erased all his bad memories and experiences, met a few who reinforced them but not a one who had contradicted them. Of course, Kai, Luke, Kevin...they were always braggin' on how perfect their girls were but that was just because none of those girls had screwed up yet. Give them a few more months or years.
