His eyes narrowed at the way the other man was mumbling but her touch on his side kept him on his stool. One hand curled around the neck of his beer and he took another long drink before he looked over to her again, his eyes narrowed as he took in her outfit. "I don't get why you would get all dressed up to come to the bar." At least his voice was honest and so was he. He really didn't get it and he wanted her to explain it to him. "You looking for attention?" He was more possessive of her then he had previously realized and that was making him even more stressed. "I shouldn't even care. Right? Shouldn't even care what the hell you do when you aren't with me." Shaking his head, he groaned and ran his hand over the smooth expanse of his skull before he let out a humorous laugh. "Fuck me. I don't even know what's going on in my head." Another sip of his beer beforehe looked back over to her again, his eyes moving more slowly over her dress, her make up, the whole nine yards. "You look like you want people to look at you. That's what you look like." The strange thing was, now that it was just her and the suit was gone, he was being quiet and a bit broody with his questions. Nothing was said in a tone that was rising with anger, just confusion and frustration with himself. One hand lifted to run over her hair, his brow furrowed as he frowned and tried to figure out why he cared so much that other people might be looking at this girl. Usually, if a guy was checking out a girl that Colden had been with, he was cocky about it - bragging about how he'd had her and proud because he was with the hot chick that everyone was looking at but it just wasn't like that with Joce.
