His hand was at the small of his back as he helped her up and then kept her close, nodding a little at the idea of her being nice and warm in her jacket. "Good, I will help out a bit too." A smile played on his lips as he looked down at her though his brow furrowed just a touch as he thought more about her going out that night with Chad. He was a little unimpressed with the way their good friend didn't seem to actually look out for his girl when he went out with her. It wasn't that he didn't trust Chad, so much, it was that Chad was so flipping girl crazy that he would go out with Joce and then just abandon her to find his own entertainment. It didn't seem to bother Joce to much but it definitely bothered him. In his opinion, if you took a girl out somewhere, it was your responsibility to make sure she was having fun and was safe and all that. His brow knitted a little as he held out his hand for the ticket to get her coat, thinking all the while. "Yeah, yeah sure. Hey, you know, do me a favor. Tell Chad I need to have a word with him. Tell him to call me when he gets a chance, yeah?" He checked the number on the ticket he was handed before he leaned down to press a kiss to her cheek. "Be careful, lots of drunks." He didn't want to her chatting up with some guy who had an idea of getting friendly with her.
