All alone, I fall to pieces


So, after a couple days of agonizing, his mind was made up and all the arrangements were made. The band's manager had booked him a plane ticket back to Cali and he had a spot waiting for him at Betty Ford - how cliché, which he hated, but it was his best chance, everyone swore. He was leaving the day after tomorrow - he'd asked for a little time to spend with Bianca before he left - but had yet to tell her that he had made his decision. When he really sat down and thought about it though, it hadn't been all that hard. All that he had was his music, and there was so much light in the future of the band that he couldn't pass up the opportunity. It was hard to finally admit that he had a serious problem and needed help to get through it - it wasn't like he had trouble admitting he was a junkie, but it was the helplessness that was tough. Now that everything was set, he had nothing left to do but pass the time in whatever fashion he favored, so he was out here, uncharacteristically, chilling on the beach despite the fact that the sun had long since set and it was a little cool out there. He had left her a note because she hadn't been home when he left, and was content now just for some calming quiet time for reflection...
