  • Wes could only smirk at Jasons muttering- they had caught him in a particularly grouchy mood today- but Wes was doing him some free labour so he couldn't complain too much about the kid being here- besides- Dre loved this place. "Be careful Dre- Leah will smack your ass if anything happens to her baby boy." Wes shot playfully at the six year old boy. He lifted his dark gaze upto Luke as he spoke to him, a smirk touching his lips, shaking his head slowly "You're kidding right? That was her baby first- aint no coming between her and that bike of hers." Wes smirked and tossed a glance at his father in law. "She's got too much of her old man in her." Wes grinned a touch at Luke, grabbing himself a towl and standing up, heading over to get some water. • He rolled his eyes, leaning back against his car as he watched Wes. "The first time a swear word comes out of his mouth I am going to blame it on you swearing around Dre and Dre teaching him, you know that don't you?" He questioned, smirking lightly before he reached into the car to turn on the ignition, waiting to see what the guages did before he nodded in satisfaction and turned it back off. "Is Keisha meeting you up here when she gets done shopping? I still can't believe you sent out a pregnant woman and Stacie Raleigh with a credit card and your blessing. I know you got cash stored away from your less than...reputable..days man but hell..." He smirked, shaking his head. If he did that with Leah he would be broke as hell. • Wes grinned a touch and shrugged his shoulders- its not like he said any of the major wear words around Dre- and he never swore at him- he couldn't even recall a time he'd even raised his voice at him. "They gotta hear it somewhere man- and I could say a lot worse." He took a deep drink at the water, nodding at Lukes question about where Keisha was meeting him. He screwed the cap back ont he bottle of water and laughed a little, shaking his head as he ran a hand over his shaved head "It's got a $1000 limit man- no worries." He made that in a day doing his job- it was hardly a huge dip into his savings. Besides- he'd give Keisha anything she asked for - and she knew it- so she tended to be pretty responsible with anything he offered."Wheres Leah at today?" (NT) -- Wes, Sat, Aug 05 2006, 3:36pm PDT

  • Wes just smirked a touch as he spoke about Leah and the baby, shaking his head a touch- he couldn't imagine having a toddler and another one on the way- at least Dre could kinda take care of himself a bit. He grinned at the bit about Lukes dad, cocking a brow and nodding- he got a bit of that himself off Keisha and his pops, he was such the charmer. "I know how that goes." His grin faded as Luke asked about Dr, it was something both he and Keisha had tlaked a lot about and thought a lot about "I dunno man... • His expression turned a little somber also as he gazed outside at the little boy who was old way beyond his age who was currently bouncing a ball to the toddler gently, a smile on his face as Alex laughed and shrieked in his way of showing that he was having fun. "He's real good with Alex..." He murmured absently, his eyes moving back to Wes. "...and he adores you, anytime we watch him you're all he talks about. It's hard to believe someone could actually not want him..you know? Not only because he was their kid but because he's him, he's such a great kid." He frowned again, running his hand over his face. Things hadn't been easy in the beginning- it had taken Dre a long time to trust him, and he knew Dre had a lot of issues he hadn;t delt with yet, but he was a great kid and Wes loved him like his own. "He's a good kid... but I think he might have some insecureties when the baby comes along you know? We've done the talk and all- but Dre has some trust issues." It was understandable- he'd been through so much and been disgarded more than once. "I think he'll just feel that his life is a little threatened when the baby comes along- you know?"   • Wes nodded in response, glancing back to Luke a moment, smirking at his comment about the world of babies. Yeah he remembered well enough form when Nyah was a baby how much time and effort babie's took. And it would be twice as hard being the parent. "Yeah I hope so." He glanced up as he saw Stacie enter, offering her a smile and tossing her a playful comment "What? they wouldn;t let you shop anymore?" When his wife and mother in law went shopping it was no peice of cake- he was just glad not to be the one carrying the bags. He glanced outside to where the kids where- seeing- just as he expected- his pregnant wife out there with them. He couldn;t help but smile a touch as he watched her with them, looking completely at ease and beautiful in her pregnant state. (NT) -- Wes, Sun, Aug 06 2006, 11:03am PDT

• After a few more minutes of hanging out with the kids and promising to come back and play after she went and said hi to 'pops', she finally headed into the garage and smiled brightly as she saw her husband. "You know, we are going to have a little girl and she's going to call you Daddy, no more of this 'pops' business. Next thing you know he's going to be caling you his 'old man'." She grinned though and reached up to press a warm kiss to his lips, tipping her head to the side. "We dropped all the bags off at home and then came over here...got some more stuff for the nursery and some things for Dre...don't want him to feel left out with the baby getting all this new stuff..." • Wes smirked and slipped a strong arm around her waist, pulling her close and pressing a kiss to her neck in greeting. "Not to my face he wont" he smirked playfully, dropping her a wink. "You had fun butterfly? Dre wants a bike." He dropped into conversation. Dre had been sat atop a bike all day while they'd been here- making motor noises and setting his face in deep concentration as he pretended to take turns and such.
