"I know, buddy. You're the good one - Jake just got you into all that trouble over the years." He humored his 'cousin' with a small, lingering smirk and then fell silent for only the briefest moment - seriously though, they all missed Jake like mad. He was among the many who couldn't wait for the guy to get his ass home. At Adam's accusations though, he laughed and shook his head, about to explain himself - but then his attention was drawn to Colden. His brows furrowed - not really in anger, just in concern and he reached out to catch the younger guys' jaw in one hand so he could take a close look at his eyes. "What are you doing drinking, boy? Adam? You're getting my baby cousin drunk? Seriously?" He growled and reached to pull the beer from Cole's hand as he followed his gaze to seek out Joce down the beach and just shook his head casually. "Kalia's cousin and Aaron. She's too smart for you, and Kali'll kick your ass so don't even bother." And that was the end of that discussion he thought, so he threw the beer bottle that he had taken from his cousin and hurled it down the beach towards Luke, careful not to hit him but obviously in his direction. He didn't really mean that the girl was too good for Colden, but he was serious when he said Kali would take offense. They all adored the young Cole, but they were also all aware of his vices.
